Clarence Brown is Franklin County’s oldest running Fuel Oil business. Clarence Brown delivers #2 fuel,kerosene, off road diesel, clear diesel, and gasoline products to our customers in the Chittenden,Franklin, Grand Isle and Lamoille Counties. We also offer “Full Service” gas pumping at our Clarence Brown “Pump House” on Federal Street in St.Albans. A service that not many places offer but we continue to offer year after year as part of theClarence Brown tradition. Clarence Brown is open for business and is taking all the necessary precautions to keep their customers safe during these trying times and wants to thank them for their continuing support during this time.

We’ve been serving our Vermont communities for over 165 years. Organized in 1851 as the Peoples Bank and nationally chartered in 1865 as the National Bank of Derby Line. In 1975 we purchased the Island Pond National Bank and changed our name to Community National Bank.

Today we have 12 retail offices in Orleans, Essex, Caledonia, Washington, Franklin and Lamoille counties. We also have 2 loan production offices, one in Chittenden county and the other in Grafton county New Hampshire.

Crafty was opened in November of 2018. We offer VT logo products, gift baskets, quilling, tinctures, salves, soaps, jewelry, candles, cloth masks, maple, honey, Breezy Acres Meats, Parson’s Lamb and more...The gift shop was created to give local artists/crafters a place to sell their products. We offer an amazing selection which gives local folks and visitors a place to shop for unique hand made gifts.

Founded in 1998, we offer residential waste and recycling services, roll-offs, and clean out dumpsters. When Catherine Duffy started the business 20 years ago, her goal was to provide a friendly alternative to the area’s larger haulers. As a young work from home mom, Catherine graciously started with 7 loyal customers. Since then, Duffy’s has grown to service over 3,000 homes throughout Chittenden and Franklin County and we continue to pride ourselves on fair pricing, excellent service and reliability - and we’d love to work with you in 2020!
